Susan Lura Sanson

This is a well thought out textbook on the principles of radiographic exposure that reviews all the technical factors that affect image quality. The purpose is to provide a comprehensive overview of radiographic exposure in a very understandable format. This is an excellent textbook and the author has met her objectives. The student radiographer is the main audience for this textbook; however, the instructors of a radiographic exposure course will benefit from using this textbook. The layout with chapter objectives, outline, and activities is unique. Throughout the book activities are inserted to reinforce basic principles and to enhance the learning experience. The illustrations are excellent and support the text. This is a very useful book for students and instructors. It takes a very complex subject and presents it in a very logical manner. This book fills the gap between the extremely basic books and the highly technical textbook. I plan to use this textbook in my radiographic exposure course.
