The words for the hues are in all capital letters in the sentences. The pictures are color photographs of animals created out brightly colored balloons. The clouds may have started out gray but they take on the color that is presented in the layout. The story ends with a rainbow and all the balloon animals. A few ideas for adult and child interaction during the story time are suggested in the back of the book.
