The book describes the Seat of War as the Christian Church in America by highlighting the church’s hypocritical stance on such political topics as homosexuality, gay marriage, and abortion. Ms. Matthews shares a riveting vision from God concerning the American Church’s Organized Rebellion against God and His Kingdom. As an example, Ms. Matthews cites a recent radio interview in which a prominent prophet received a prophecy in 2005 confirming Barack Obama as God’s choice for president in the 2008 election. A group of pastors upon hearing the prophecy told the prophet not to speak the prophecy; instead they created their own prophecies and began promoting their own candidates for the presidency.
