Overview

The second in a series of prophetic books by author Paula Matthews, The War Journal (1999-2010) Volume II focuses on the dynamics of spiritual warfare on current events in America. According to Ms. Matthews, the Spirit of God faults the church for America's economic, social and political dysfunction. This volume summarizes God's dissatisfaction with the American church and prophetically declares that God is raising up an army of obedient sons who will take the necessary spiritual authority to bring both the church and America back into alignment with God's plan and purpose. This spiritual revolution will spark the fires of revival and catapult America into her greatest hour since becoming a republic.

Synopsis

The second in a series of prophetic books by author Paula Matthews, The War Journal (1999-2010) Volume II focuses on the dynamics of spiritual warfare on current events in America. The book describes the Seat of War as the Christian Church in America by highlighting the church’s hypocritical stance on such political topics as homosexuality, gay marriage, and abortion. Ms. Matthews shares a riveting vision from God concerning the American Church’s Organized Rebellion against God and His Kingdom. As an example, Ms. Matthews cites a recent radio interview in which a prominent prophet received a prophecy in 2005 confirming Barack Obama as God’s choice for president in the 2008 election. A group of pastors upon hearing the prophecy told the prophet not to speak the prophecy; instead they created their own prophecies and began promoting their own candidates for the presidency. According to Ms. Matthews, the Spirit of God faults the church for America's economic, social and political dysfunction. In their rebellion against God's Kingdom they have shirked their spiritual responsibilities to the nation in what the Lord labels calls Anti-American behavior. The book summarizes God’s dissatisfaction with the American church and prophetically declares that God is raising up an army of obedient sons who will take the necessary spiritual authority to bring both the church and America back into alignment with God’s plan and purpose. This spiritual revolution will spark the fires of revival and catapult America into her greatest hour since becoming a republic.
