Where Have All Our Giants Gone?

Where Have All Our Giants Gone? profiles forty former players, from such familiar names as Rosie Grier and Allie Sherman to the more obscure but noteworthy, if only because their post-football lives were no less fascinating than the players with household names. Author Stuart Miller tracked down former cornerback Beasley Reece and found him to be a successful broadcaster in Philadelphia who aspires to a third career in music.

Stuart Miller is a contributing editor for The Sporting News and writes the magazine's annual "Power 100: The 100 Most Powerful People in Sports" feature.
