Children's Literature

The photographs that fill the pages of this rectangular board book are full of humor. The minimal text describes what is pictured—a pig bossing, a chicken squawking, and rabbits kissing. The close-up shots are wonderful and young children will enjoy pointing to and naming animals. It really is a great opportunity to look at animals that kids may have no chance of seeing in person unless they live near a farm or perhaps a petting zoo. It will also help young ones learn animal names and characteristics often associated with some of them. Part of the "Bossy Barnyard" series.
