Purpose:As a USMLE review, the book presents each case with the type of questions, e.g. what is the next step emphasized in the USMLE, in addition to the clinical information.
Audience:This is useful primarily for those preparing for the USMLE, but it could be equally useful for those studying for board certification who are having difficulty conquering the secondary type questions. The authors present the cases well.
Features:The presentation of the case and analysis followed by clinical information makes for an easy, fast read. There are some well chosen references and the index is quite useful.
Assessment:As USMLE books go, this presents the information well for easy study. It is one of the better preparation texts.
