Whether riding for fun or competition, old time motorcycles do not come close to the development of ones from today. Knowledge of how a motorcycle works, how to dress for a ride, different kinds of road cycles, and even sidecars is delivered in an understandable way. If anything is unclear, it is the discussion of ATVs and Segways on the last page of text. Text does not say that these are types of motorcycles, so continuity of ideas about motorcycles is lost. However, this book, like others in the "Transportation" series will supply early readers with basic, interesting knowledge regarding this form of transportation.
